Nestled along the southwestern coast of Bali, Seseh Village and its pristine Seseh Beach offer a serene escape into a world where tradition meets natural beauty. Just a short drive from the bustling streets of Canggu, Seseh provides a peaceful contrast with its quiet charm and scenic landscapes. It’s the perfect location for relaxation and exploration. Be a short drive from some of Bali’s best-known beach clubs, shops and cafes without the daily hustle and bustle of busy Canggu.

Seseh Beach: A Hidden Gem

Unspoiled and secluded, Seseh Beach is renowned for its black volcanic sands and powerful waves, making it a favourite spot for locals, expats and tourists seeking a less crowded beach. The beach stretches invitingly, bordered by verdant rice fields and traditional Balinese temples, offering picturesque sunsets and a tranquil atmosphere.

Local Attractions

  • Warung Pantai: This viral beach spot has all of the rustic charm of old Bali. A simple beach bar and food spot for relaces sunset vibes.

  • Canggu Shopping & Nightlife: Canggu is located around a 20-minute drive from Seseh. There are hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops to explore in this busy part of Bali. Be mindful that traffic in the Canggu area can get crazy so always plan your trip and be safe when driving.

  • Yoga at Udara: Udara is one of SW Bali’s most famous yoga spots. With views of the sea from the shala, a quirky spa offering and an infamous Sunday festival that features yoga, ecstatic dance and sound healing, it’s well worth a visit.

  • Tanah Lot Temple: Located approximately 15 km north of Seseh, this iconic sea temple is one of Bali's most photographed monuments due to its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops.

  • Echo Beach: About 7 km south of Seseh, Echo Beach is popular among surfers and foodies alike, with its array of seaside cafes, surf spots, vibrant atmosphere and of course, the world-famous La Brisa beach club.

  • Pererenan Village: Our neighbouring village, Pererenan has recently boomed, with new boutique shops, cafes and restaurants this once-sleepy village has become the area’s new hot spot.

Distance from Key Locations:

  • Canggu: 8 km (about a 15-20 minute drive)

  • Seminyak: 14 km (approximately 35 minutes by car)

  • Ngurah Rai International Airport: 23 km (around a 1.5 hour drive)

Please note that during rush hour (mon-fri 9am-11am / 4pm-6pm) there can be very severe traffic in Bali. Always make sure to plan your trip and give enough time for traffic.

Getting Around: Getting around Seseh and its surroundings is most convenient by motorbike or car. Renting a scooter gives you the flexibility to explore at your own pace while hiring a driver can provide a more relaxed experience with local insights.
